As far back as I can remember, I've loved to take pictures. I think I may have been about 12 years old when my dad gave me his old Pentax K1000 along with a book or two, just in case I needed to know what all this shutter-speed and f-stop talk was about. From that early experience came an intuitive understanding of the mechanics of photography. The really useful knowledge came later.
My photography of late has been all about people, telling their stories through pictures, showing how they see themselves and how others see them. It's something I love to do, and I hope you enjoy the results as well.
Elsewhere on the web:
Words: I occasionally blog about photography and things at least peripherally related. Not much that hasn't been said before, but it's nice to write things down once in a while.
Pictures: Flickr is somewhere between a photoblog and a social network for me. It's a good place to see what I've been up to lately with a camera.
